You can obtain a replacement cable directly from a bricks-and-mortar Apple Store, the online Apple Store using your web browser (look for accessories), an Apple Authorised Reseller or many other good computer stores.

The Apple Store App also provides an easy way to buy a replacement cable directly from Apple:
