How can I get and send email without knowing my password.

I cannot get or receive email because I can't remember the password created years ago. Also I have changed my provider and still have the email from previous provider.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.14

You can't. Log into your email provider's webmail page and reset your password.
