Suggestions for iCloud and Photos for macOS

I found that it is inconvenient to use iCloud and Photos in macOS.

For iCloud, there are only two options, either to sync all the documents on my MacBook, or optimize Mac storage. However, there are some documents are most important, could you please add a function which allows to sync certain folders consistently while not allowed to sync certain folders to MacBook.

For Photos, it is really a garbage app, compared to Android. Could you please allow to organize the images like folders, allow to transfer images to certain folders, with deleting them in 'recent' folders. For now, we classified some images to a folder, but those images are not really transfer to that folder, and we can't delete them in 'Recent folder', what's more, is we will forget wether the images are classified in 'Recent folder' or not.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

You don't have to have all Documents and Desktop files/folders on iCloud. It's not an all or nothing situation. You can enable iCloud Drive and put only the folders or files you want to share with other devices on it like I have done:

I don't have the Documents or Desktop folders on it. Just the few I've added.

Thank you for reply, unfortunately, you misunderstand my meaning.

Because there are 2TB for iCloud, but only 512GB for my MacBook, I'd rather to use iCloud as a server to save more documents, while fewer documents on my MacBook, Which is an opposite operate as you did.

Yeah, I understand all the documents would be mirrored on every devices with iCloud. But it would be perfect if it would allow to selectively sync certain folders to MacBook, while some are not syncing to MacBook. I mean you can see the files on every devices with iCloud, but just select certain folders to sync to MacBook consistently.
