Can deleted contacts be recovered

I deleted more contact than I wanted can they be restored?

They can most often if they have been stored in iCloud.

From a PC / Mac, go to: https://www.icloud.com

Tap account settings under your name and profile picture.

Scroll down a bit, in the Advanced section you can select "Restore Contacts".
