New iPhone 12 Pro

Have transferred from iPhone X to iPhone 12 Pro but my old SIM card doesn’t quite fit. Do I need a new SIM card thank you.

No, the iPhone X and iPhone 12 Pro use the exact same SIM card size and type.


If it's not fitting, you are likely doing something wrong.


Note that you have to use the tray from the iPhone 12, you can't insert the tray from the iPhone X into the iPhone 12.

Also make sure the SIM card is placed in the correct orientation in the sim tray.
