My AOL mail stopped working today has always worked good I have done nothing to any of the settings

AOL requires an app specific password to use their account, contact them or look at their support site for more info.

I had to delete my AOL

account from my phone and then add it back. It never left my iPad or MacBook, and I never had a problem with the account on either of those.
