reset passwords

21 inch iMac mid 2011, Last edition High Sierra, trying to reset password. I startup with command + R, get to Terminal, I get to Screen that says "Select User " . I click on my name and nothing happens. Thanks in advance.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13
