Here's a list of cards Apple has:

- Buy Apple Gift Card

"Use it to shop the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, iTunes, Apple Arcade, the Apple Store app, apple.com, and the Apple Store."

None are good for use with Apple Pay. You have to redeem them to an Apple account for use.
