Accessing iTunes music on Android?

I recently switched from an iPhone to an Android. I was assured I would be able to access my iTunes music, but I am being prompted to buy a subscription to Apple Music. I don't want to pay to access the music I already paid for. I also don't stream music. Is there a way to authorize my phone as we can on our computers, so I can access my music?

iTunes Music Purchases can be transferred to the Android phone directly by whatever means the manufacturer has in place to get music onto the phone. Check the user guide for how to get Music onto the phone, and then just point it to the iTunes music folder on your computer for the transfer/

You cannot use the Apple Music app on android as that is just for Music from the subscription service and has no access to your library.
