Not able to use visual voicemail

Not able to use visual voicemail and no prompts settings etc. to even set it up. The voicemail tab in the phone app only shows "call voicemail"


All support articles refer a message on the voicemail buttom that says "set up voicemail" - I do not see this button - only "call voicemail".


This is an iphone 12Pro on an AT&T subscription plan.

Voicemail, including visual voicemail, is a carrier feature.

Call AT&T Customer service.
