This is a bigger problem than police can deal with. No. 1, can’t trace them as they change their email address every minute. No. 2, no body cares. They know the creeps are out there but unless they break a major law they won’t mess with them. I think it should fall on the phone manufacturer to figure it out and provide the protection for such. After all we buy the phones, they make tons of money off the consumer but we’re really on our own when we need support. The preps need to be banned from the internet or phone service.

Nope. It's up to your cellular carrier.
If they are SMS/MMS messages, your cellular carrier has the ability to block all messages that originate from email addresses instead of phone numbers.
Contact your cellular carrier.
If you have AT&T, call customer service and tell them to look up article *446389. That tells them what to do.
If they are iMessages, you can report them as spam directly from your phone.

Block the sender.
If they are obscene, contact the police.
These are coming in as SMS text messages which are completely under the purview of the cell service providers. Manufacturers have nothing to do with it. Contact your provider and see what they offer.
It’s with ATT and I have downloaded their 2 protection apps. They do not work. Next stop will be person to person conversation and they’re not going to like it.
Thank you.
You have to keep sending the offending texts to them. You are going to be talking to a first line support person. If they could fix this they would be worth a billion dollars and would quit AT&T.
