From our understanding, a blocked contact is showing up under Recents, correct. We see that you reviewed this great article: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch Is the contact in the Contacts app? In the Messages app, do you have a message thread for this contact? Were they recently blocked? This information will help us narrow down this.
