Buying an iPhone in another country

hello, so I have a question, I really want to buy the new iPhone in the United States(Los Angeles) but I don’t really know if it is compatible with French telephone plans and therefore with French sim cards, but if possible will my iPhone be less efficient with the difference in antennas when I use it in France?or advise me to wait to buy it in France? Also I don’t care about the warranty.

thank you

Are you aware that a phone purchased in the US, will have NO WARRANTY at all in France? iPhone does NOT come with International Warranty. US based phones come with mmWave 5G which is not available in France. There are other bands which appear to be supported in France as well as the US. See this --> iPhone - Supported 5G and LTE networks - Apple

It is always BEST to buy the phone in the country you live and will use it. If you buy a phone in the US and you have a warranty claim, which could require the phone to replaced, Apple France will not have the same model you bought in the US and Apple's policy is to replace with the same exact model. Since Apple doesn't accept international shipment, this means any warranty issues you have will require you to bring the phone physically back to the US.
