I got a text to say my card has been added to someone else’s iPhone. Has this happened to anyone else or is this a scam?

It’s most certainly a scam …
… but you can NEVER be too careful.
IGNORE and delete that text.
Then to “ease your mind” contact your card issuer directly and re-confim w/ THEM on which Apple Pay devices the card is configured.
