I have been using XS for almost 3 years now and updated to latest iOS version. The battery Health shows its at a healthy 80% capacity but starts lagging and shuts down when the battery nears 20% mark. It wasn’t an issue with iOS 14 but have been facing these problems since updating to iOS 15. Any other person facing similar problems? This needs to be addressed with a software update I believe

No, it is not a problem with the software. Your battery has reached the point where it should be replaced. In addition to losing capacity internal resistance increases as the battery ages, which can result in sudden shutdowns under conditions of high demand when the state of charge is low.
I really think it’s an issue with the software more as it was working fine on iOS 14!
