Unable to Setup Homepod mini - "Setup Failed (301014)"

I looked at all the solutions here and none of them are relevant;

after checking with support, apparently the homepod mini does not support AX network? only N?

anyone have any progress on setting up homepod?

Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) should be backwards compatible.


Your Wi-Fi router needs to be set up with WPA/WPA2 wireless security and with any client/access point/wireless isolation/security feature turned off. HomePod won't work if there is a challenge response web page required to connect to the network. It seems HomePod doesn't play well with mesh networks either.
