Apple account blocked from app store

My apple account is blocked from App Store and iTunes. I can’t download any apps

iPhone XR, iOS 15

According to the "Related Article," "If you see a message that says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes' - Apple Support:"

"Contact Apple Support for help.

If you see a message that says "Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes," there might be a problem with the payment method that you have on file.

When you see the message, don't try to edit any of your account information. Instead, contact Apple Support for help."

That message means that you owe Apple money, and you need to contact them to resolve the problem. What was the result when you followed the guidance in the Related Article above your name on this page, that you were reading just before you posted here? The article include a link to click to contact Apple support. If the Related Article doesn't answer your question please post back with more details about the issue and another user in this user-to-user forum will try to help.

As the Related Article says:


If you see a message that says "Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes," contact Apple Support for help.


It does NOT say update your payment details. And updating your payment details will not resolve the problem. You must contact an actual person at Apple using the link in the article (and in my line above) to resolve this.
