I got a new phone. Why can’t I get my watch to set up? I have tried everything. I’ve reset and erased the watch. Now it says it’s unable to pair the watch. What do I do now?

You have to unpair the watch from the old phone first,a watch can only be paired to 1 phone at a time.

Erasing a watch doesn't remove the activation lock;
