Can Best Buy authorized repair techs replace the charger port in 6th gen iPad. They said they could replace the charging port on some models does anyone know if they can do the repair or replacement on a sixth generation iPad? I spoke with an unauthorized repair man and he said he couldn’t do anything because there is soldering required so I was wondering if it’s the same deal with Best Buy Who is an authorized repair place.
Unless things have changed, Apple does not do internal repairs on the iPad, they do a device swap. And, I'm not sure if Best Buy can do that, they may have to refer you to Apple directly.
