How do I make the volume increase the longer my alarm goes off on an iPhone 8?

Thank you for your reply, delete the alarm and reset it again. The alarm may stop if you press the Volume Up or Down button or the power button.
And make sure during the alert preparation that there is an alarm tone as shown in the pictures.
That is not my issue. The alarm goes off for 20 sec then it silences; if I am in REM sleep I do not hear it, then I finally wake up and it has been going off for 30 min, but it is silent. If I am not in REM sleep I can hear my alarm just fine as it is loud. I need for to to stay loud, not go silent.

You can’t increase the volume the more alarm playtime you can just control the sound of the alarm by going to clock >sleep | wake up .
