I need to remove card

I need help removing my card and I won’t be putting one on

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Troubleshooting Methods of Payment:

A. Go here to edit the methods of payment: Change, Add, or Remove Apple ID Payment Methods - Apple Support


B. Use a Computer for this:

Important: Be certain to use a computer to perform this, as it would be more user-friendly doing so.


C. Remove, then Add:

You need at lease on method of payment on there. So, add the new card first, and then delete the one that is currently on there.


D. Contact your Financial Institution (Bank):

Sometimes, things like this are seen as scams (though this may not be the case). So, contact your bank, letting them know that all is fine to be proceeded with.


No Success?

E. For Financial Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support:

You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
