on the find my location app. Can someone explain why there’s a
Iphone (2) on one of the devices?

If iPhone do not have a proper name then you get iPhone(a number).
Best make sure all iPhone have a unique name, see the settings mentioned above.

Do you have 2 iPhone(s) or location sharing?
Check your iPhone's name:
Settings > General > About > Name > ?
It’s on location sharing with another family member. On their iPhone on the app it’s saying “IPhone (2)”
