I found the product feedback link in the original thread (How to show sender email address instead … - Apple Community )and will provide my feedback accordingly.
But it seems that even the option to delete a community post is ommited...
The Apple Support Communities are hosted by Apple, Owned by Apple and Moderated by Apple and Apple Makes the Rules.

I don't know about that.
I was allowed to edit the whole text content as well, basically changing the initial topic, which makes it just as meaningless.
My question was just asked too hasty, so I don't see why it would not make sense to delete it altogether.
But whatever.
Generally, within about a 15 minute of original posting, the user can edit their own posting.
Thereafter, All Hands are off except for the Moderator(s)

Partially accurate as per a previous posting to this question.
A Posting can be EDITED by the owner of the posting within about 15 minutes.
The Moderator can edit or removal a posting at any time.
Normally, if the Moderator edits a posting the byline will appear in the edited posting.
That byline normally will bear the " Edited by Moderator " moniker added to the posting.
If a posting is outright Removed - The Person who posting the Removed Posting will receive an e-mail from the Moderator explain why it was Removed.
EDITED
The Only person who can Delete a Posting is the Moderator(s) of the Apple Support Community Forums.
