I have just learned how to use my iphone to scan and save to my MBA. I did this by scanning in Notes then accessing the scans via On My iPhone.
I did fine for a few scans then the facility in Files/On My iPhone vanished. Any idea what I have done to make it vanish?

Tap File app -> tap iCloud Drive or My iPhone -> then tap the three dots (top right of the screen) -> tap scan document -> the camera is activated -> Place the document in view.

My new scanned doc once saved jumps to the bottom left of the screen and I am asked if I want to do another scan. If I don’t want to the screen then asks if I want to cancel whereby the scan I just did gets deleted. What I am doing wrong? Thanks for ur interest.
After you scan a document, tap Save (bottom right of the screen).
