Apple Watch is lost but show location once per day

I had been looking for my daughters Apple Watch. It shows (on her phone which was paired before it was lost) the last location is at home. However it’s been lost for 2 weeks, I think the battery is already dead but in the Find my app it still showed location today at 12:53AM. Is that possible ? If the watch is dead how can it show location. ? Is there anyway to help me find it ?
