Apple TV subscription on Amazon Firestick

I have a paid Apple TV subscription but when I try to access it via my Firestick it’s saying I don’t. How do I address this?

Verify that you are signed in to the Apple TV app, through the in-app Settings (sprockets wheel icon), with the Apple ID account that has the subscription.
