My payment information couldn't be updated and it kept showing apple support

I did but i still cant update
Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details.
On the Sidebar click Payment methods -> then tap Payments Methods and tap Manage payment method.

Do you get a message?
Has anyone got a solution for this. Trying to buy a game add on but it keeps giving me this message. I have two payment options in my apple account and both are approved and are not showing a fault.
