Backed Up Voice Memos Disappeared

Hi, I only just noticed all my backed up Voice Memos have disappeared.

I have verified that I still have Voice Memos selected under iCloud backups in Settings. And I have not deleted any notes recently.

I don’t use Voice Memos super often, but I know I utilized the app less than 1.5 months ago, and at that point, I still had many many in there. Some of those were as old as 5 years (voice recordings of my then 3 year old, etc).

However, now I only see recordings which are dated April 26-May 28, 2022.

Was there an update that could’ve removed them from the phone during an iCloud backup? I don’t have a “recently deleted” folder either.

I am submitting this inquiry with 2 screenshots attached…one view of the main recordings menu (missing a recently deleted folder), and one view of the list of the only memo files I have remaining.
