My phone died. Is there any way I can recover it's data?

My I phone 7plus has served me well for 5 years. It died suddenly. Is there a way to recover it's content?

Restore the last backup you made to your next iPhone.

Contact, calendar, etc. can be accessed directly on iCloud or whatever cloud service you were syncing with.

Any data that was not backed up or synced to the cloud is gone.
