Best way to use macbook : plugged in or on batter power ?

Hey, I am new to apple products and I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 14". I wonder how should I use it with power adapter. Should I keep it plugged in all the time I am working or should I maintain the batter level between 20% and 80%. FYI, I am using the mac pro for long hours continuously like 6-8Hrs for software development (running servers, backend and frontend parallelly ). I found some stuff on the internet about this, but everything is confusing and different people say different things conflicting each idea.

It's just fine to leave your computer plugged in for long periods of time. Modern battery technology has made it so you no longer have to worry about keeping your computer battery in a certain range. Apple products have smart battery charging technology that keeps it from overcharging, and will 'learn your routine' to optimize your MacBook charging. I use my MacBook Pro for a variety of intensive things, such as 3D design and rendering, Boot Camp for Windows, and game and software development, so I generally keep my MacBook plugged in all the time. Eventually, it'll start to put charging on hold for a while (until below 80%) and then resume after a while, to keep the battery cycling. Don't worry- your battery will be just fine!

It should be noted, however, that your battery will still deteriorate normally. Rechargeable batteries are consumables, and do reduce in effectiveness over time. However, you don't really need to worry about exacerbating it by leaving it plugged in.
