I am the approver on all app downloads and purchases for my kid and I cannot figure out where to cancel some of the crap we bought and subscribed while back. On kid's device "Media and Purchases" option is not clickable, so cannot view or manage subscriptions there
Check restrictions / screen time on kid’s device and allow changes to account, sounds like you disabled making changes, so now you have to re-enable them.
Settings->Screen Time->Content & Privacy Restrictions->Allow Changes
