In addition to Smilin-Brian's excellent advice, what will be available to you will depend on that internal SSD. That is, if it is faulty, it will have to be replaced and the only means to restore your data would be from a backup ... OR, potentially from a data recovery service (very expensive.)
On the other hand, if the drive has not failed, you have two options here, as well:
- Attempt to re-install macOS.
- Completely erase the drive, and then, install a "fresh" copy of macOS.
