iPhone purchase

I want to purchase a new iPhone. However, my carrier is not listed under the options provided. How can I purchase it free and unlocked to use anywhere?

The Apple Online store is often a good starting point - you will find Unlocked models there. The Apple Store does the same (I bought the original SE from the Apple Store in San Francisco and used it overseas).

In the USA you can purchase an iPhone direct from Apple or at an Apple retail store unlocked and not setup for any carrier. You must pay for the iPhone in full at the time of purchase. But that iPhone would then be unlocked to setup with any carrier in the world that supports “bring your own phone” and iPhone.
