iOS 15.5 Settings: Lock Camera option missing in Camera settings

I have an iPhone 13 pro. I want to lock the lens/camera that I select in the camera app. Apple support says to use the Lock Camera option in settings. It's not on my camera settings page. I have seen screenshots of this option on that page.

How do I lock the lens/camera, so it won't switch automatically?

Thanks, Wiseowl99

Save camera settings on iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings.
  2. Turn on any of the following: Camera Mode: Save the last camera mode you used, such as Video or Pano. See Switch between camera modes.
