Will resetting my iPhone get rid of malware in every case?

If you factory reset your iPhone, it will be restored to the default settings, wiping anything installed on it.
However, the probability of malware on your iPhone is very low. What makes you think your device is infected?

Assuming you are talking about factory resetting, yes it should. A factory reset will delete all data besides for the OS. But if the system is backed up restoring a backup will reinstall any malware.
I think I clicked on a bad link. I’m an academic and due to my work I’ve been targeted by hackers in Thailand for some time.
I wiped everything and only kept my Apple ID, but changed the password in that too, then disabled iCloud.
