OS Monterey pros and cons

Are there any problems with upgrading to Monterey on a MacPro 13 inch early 2015? Also, will the 12+ Gb of Monterey take the place of the space now taken up by macOS Big Sur?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.6

There shouldn't be. Make sure you have a backup in case.

Thanks Dialabrain. I've been putting off installing it for months now because I really don't need the "new" gadgets offered with Monterey.

How should I go about doing a backup? Do you mean backing up everything on the HD or just the OS?

(My new OS upgrade should be called "El Cheapo" because I really don't see any reason to keep upgrading when everything works for me just fine as it is. LOL)
