Is this message that my Apple pay was deactivated a scam?

Had this text message this morning, pretty sure it a scam. This is the message:


Apple:Apple pay was deactivated on your device, To reactivate, visit our link:

Nothing was deactivated because Apple Pay is merely linked to your payment method.


This is a scam!!


If you receive a suspicious email or SMS text message that looks like it's supposed to be from Apple, please email it to reportphishing@apple.com. 


Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams.

Nothing was deactivated because Apple Pay is merely linked to your payment method.
