my iphone says it has never backed up to icloud but I have the backup setting turned on. The backup always fails.

Why won't my iphone backup to the icloud? I have the backup setting on and its says it has never backed up to the cloud in the last year. It looks like I have enough space available on icloud. When I manually click on backup it also fails. My photos have been backing up to the icloud ok but not the rest of the phone.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

You would have to make a calculation.

iPhone 13 pro storage capacity 128GB or 26GB or 512GB ot 1TB

iCloud + storage available -> 50 GB or 200 GB or 2 TB.

Which iPhone model & which iCloud subscriptione do you have?

Check -> Go to -> Settings -> your name -> iCloud -> if you see 50 GB (or 200 GB or 2 TB) then you have an iCloud subscription.

Or backup to iCloud or to the PC, you need space.
