WhatsApp on son’s iPhone
How can I add WhatsApp on to my 10 year old’s iPhone? The App Store says “Get” but it’s faint and will not be selected. He needs to be added to the family group chat.

The button to "Get" an app may be greyed out if the app isn't compatible with your device. To verify that an app is compatible with your iPad, check in the app's description in the App Store, under the section titled, "Compatibility."

You may also want to check you don't have downloads restricted or that app if you are using Screen Time for him. This would prevent downloading WhatsApp.

You can set which apps you want your family member to be able to use at any time.
- On your family member’s device, go to Settings > Screen Time.
- If you haven’t already turned on Screen Time, tap Turn On Screen Time, tap Continue, then tap This is My Child’s iPhone.
