You can set up One Home Screen to have the apps synced across.

That appears to be an error related to setup of HomeKit/Airplay 2 when doing the setup with another iPhone/iPad. You can try signing out of your Apple ID and reinstalling the home app on that device. As a last resort do a reset on Apple TV.
