so whenever my new iPhone comes close to any iPhone, the other iPhone keeps prompting transfer number. Not just my old phone, anyone's iPhone running iOS 16 is affected. I already transferred my number from my old phone to my new phone. But this is still popping up.
This is probably annoying a lot of people around me. What is causing this?

Is this going to get fixed?? I just upgraded from iPhone 11 to iPhone 14 Pro and therefore from a physical sim to an esim. And now everyday my bf gets like 90 of these notifications every time I come remotely close. I don’t want a stranger to be able to click yes.

The issue went away the next day. It only happened the day I got the new iPhone. Guess it's just a new transfer number feature for eSim, a glitch since I already transferred it.
Oh well...
