Apple Podcasts Connect not working

When I try to set up an account with Apple Podcasts Connect, I sign in with my Apple ID and get to the 'Set Up Account' page, but, after entering in an Account Name and agreeing to the Ts & Cs, the 'Save' button does not work and so I cannot continue. Please help!

If this fails I would suggest reporting it Podcasts Support: iTunes Connect | Contact Us


If that fails the next step is to contact Apple Support: Support. Don't present this as a podcasting problem - they don't handle those and will refer you to Podcasts Support (or give you an inaccurate answer judging by some people's experience). Present the problem as being the inability to access Podcasts Support. It's also been suggested that getting them to look at your Apple ID may clear matters: do you have a Developer ID? Someone else found that his didn't work and when he created a normal ID it worked.

I have had exactly this problem as well. My computer is authorized to play and buy music, so that's clearly not the issue. I've tried setting up a podcast account on two computers (one Mac and one PC) as well as my mobile, and all of them had the same problem. I also called Apple Support three times, and they embarrassingly told me that there exists no phone support department that deals with podcast issues. I'm wondering if it's a problem with the website itself?
