Activation Lock

I have an iphone 11 that is a company cell phone. I have had it stashed away in a drawer for probably a couple years. It is barely used, my employee said he got a virus on it and I have never been able to figure out how to reset the activation lock. I am the administrator on the business account and the Apple ID & password is not the same as I set up for this employee. It is asking for an icloud user name and password. I would really like to repurpose this phone it is in great shape but I don't know what to do with it. It's probably been 3 years since I purchased it and I can't find the original paperwork any longer. Any ideas?

If you are the owner or the owner has shared all information with you then to open Activation Lock:- If it is Activation locked, read here --> Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Learn how to remove a device from a previous owner's account.

If you are not the owner and do not have the Apple ID and Password then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their Apple ID.
