iPhone 12 mini wont turn on

My iPhone 12 mini is completely unresponsive. Doesn’t respond to the suggested restart buttons. I’ve changed to a different charger but still nothing. Any ideas?

Hey there jeanfrombristol,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, when you say that the iPhone won't respond to the restart buttons, are you force restarting the iPhone with the steps below: If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

On your iPhone 8 or later, including iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation)
1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
4. If your phone doesn't turn on, follow these steps to check your hardware and charge your phone. You might need to charge for up to an hour.
5. If your phone still doesn't turn on, contact Apple Support.

We do want to make you aware that when you get to step 3, you may need to hold the side button down for some time before you see the Apple logo.

If your iPhone is remains unresponsive even when trying to force restart the device, the next best option would be to reach out to Apple Support using the link provided in step 5.

We hope that's able to help.

Take care.
