iTunes vs Apple Music?

I am trying to clean up my MacBook and see that I have 61GB of music stored locally. I have Apple Music so wondering if I need my iTunes music files anymore?

Hi Matthew,

It is up to you. Apple Music lets you stream files without having a local copy, and also lets you download files for offline play. The AM catalog has around 100 million songs, so you can surely find something to listen to! However, if your current collection contains songs that are hard to find, you can make a backup of the files before cleaning up.
