Hi my over all battery health is 90 % on my Apple Watch and I charge it to 100% before I go to bed. I wear the watch to bed and then by 6.30am it’s decreased to 87% I’ve turned off nightstand location etc can anyone help?

Hi overall my battery health is 90 percent for series 4 Watch I charge it to 100 per cent before bed then wear it to bed for sleep tracking. When I wake up in the morning it says battery down to 87 percent. I’ve turned off night mode location heart rate etc. anyone any idea why it’s doing this. Thanks in advance

I've never really paid attention to my battery level prior to getting in bed and then after getting out of bed.

I went from a Series 3 to a Series 8, so except for wOS's, I don't have hands on experience with the Series 4.

However... When you're asleep, it's hard to know how many times the Crown has been bumped or turned and I would think that there would be a certain amount of battery being used by the watch screen being woke up during the night.

Also, you said that you turn off heart rate. From what I know, heart rate is one of the things that the watch looks at to know when you are asleep. Wouldn't shutting that off result in erroneous Sleep results?

I only charge my watch when it is low or when it tells me to charge it before going to bed (the 3 then and same with the 8 now). On average, I probably only recharge my watch every other day. I'm sure that recharge intervals depend on how and how much a person's watch is used.

I hope that you might find some of this helpful.

Sleep well ;-)

There isn't Safari for an Apple Watch.

Not on my Series 8 nor on my wife's Series 3. For extra credit, and to make sure that I wasn't missing something, I went to Safari in the app store. I confirmed my suspicions, Safari doesn't have an app for the watch.

I've looked and looked for this battery report in my watch and I can't such a thing. My wife is home from work now and we looked in her's.

There is a battery report for the battery in your phone settings though.

Settings, >Battery, "Battery Usage By App"

This is for your phone battery not your watch battery.

Here is a screenshot of my phone's battery usage. I don't use Safari much. Does this look the same as the one you were looking at?
