“Ask to buy” won’t work

I can’t figure out why “ask to why” has suddenly stopped working. I reviewed the support article but I didn’t find an issue with any of the logins / family sharing settings. Any other tips?

Ask to Buy has stopped working I have family sharing setup and the ask to buy element has worked for the last few years. If it ever stopped I turned my phone off and back on again. I upgraded to iOS 16 recently and can no longer receive ask to buy notifications. I have followed all the instructions on the Apple support website but nothing works. Any ideas?

Ask To Buy & Family Sharing not working Hello as the title suggests, despite checking the settings on my phone and my child’s, the Ask to buy function is not working. Moreover when I download a game on my phone then try to download the same game on my child’s phone, we still see the Ask to buy button appear. This is not supposed to occur as we have family sharing and have paid subscription to AppleOne. The device in question appears on my phone and we are signed in to the correct AppleId. please assume that we have checked settings, downloaded latest software, powered off the phone, then back on, turned off Ask to buy then turned it on, etc. Still not working. thanks

Ask to buy requests aren’t coming through on my iPhone. Hi everyone, this has got my head done in now. I have an iPhone 12 Pro max, running iOS 16.1.1. I have set up my daughters (iPhone 7, running iOS 15.7.1) on family sharing. I have parental controls on. One being ‘ask to buy’. For some reason though the requests are t coming through to my phone. Now I have got both phones up to date with the latest iOS. I have tried rebooting, turning off and back on. Nothing works and it’s getting me frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
