If the age is set to under 13 years old, you must contact Apple support to have the age changed. click here ➡️ contact Apple Support

If the age is set to over 13, then you can log in to https://appleid.apple.com with the child's Apple ID and change the age there. click here ➡️ Update the birth date associated with your Apple ID - Apple Support
