COVID-19 Immunization Record in Apple Health showing CVX code only, not description

I downloaded my latest COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination QR code from the Government of Ontario Canada website and added it to Apple Health. For one of the COVID-19 vaccine doses I received, the description in the Apple Health record says only "519". This appears to be the correct CDC Immunization Information Systems (IIS) CVX code for the vaccine I received, the Moderna Spikevax Bivalent BA.1 COVID-19. Can this be fixed to show the description, similar to how the other vaccine records are presented.

I’m having the same issue. The alternate name is missing using the Apple health app. Using the “smart health card verifier app” will show the records properly so this is an Apple issue. It’s not just CVX code “519” but others that have been updated within the last few months (CVX code 300 is another one).

This isn't something that can be modified on your end. We'd advise contacting Government of Ontario Canada and see what they suggest. They may need to provide you with a new code.

I had contacted the Government of Ontario prior to posting this issue. They said it was probably something that Apple would have to fix.
