Hi, I have two factor authentication with my ipad which is located at my home. When I am using my AppleId account, I need to authenticate, but the code is sent to the ipad, how can I set it so that it will permanently go to my phone, not my ipad?

The code goes to all trusted devices first, that cannot be changed. You just need to click “Didn’t get code” and request it be sent to your number each time.

Thanks, I figured it out, the fix is that I need to remove the trusted devices, and in that case the code is sent to my phone number only. This works. The drawback is that I would need a different apple id to log into my iPad.
Yeah, I thought of that too but decided to not even mention it because of that reason. :-)
